Stuart talks financial independence with Blu Wireless

Blu Wireless, based in Bristol, is a pioneer in mmWave communications which generates ultra-fast wireless network solutions for demanding applications such as, Defence, cellular backhaul and High-Speed Transport.

Back in May, Stuart Smart gave a talk to Blu Wireless employees on the importance of financial planning and how, done the right way, it can help people to achieve financial independence. From effectively managing investments, ongoing insurance and car warranties and pensions, the right mindset at any point in an individual’s career can pay dividends later on in life.

“Taking a few minutes to explain our process and its benefits to people can potentially help clients out for a lifetime. There are various factors that people never consider about financial planning so it’s my job to get them thinking in that way”, explains Stuart.

One way of doing so is by using our goal-based interactive planning software to help clients visualise their financial future, based on cash flow, key life events and what-if scenarios.

“People tend to think about these scenarios often but actually visualising it and mapping it out on a screen can quite literally be life-changing.”

Following this, Stuart talked through several scenarios from real clients whom we’ve helped recently. One of the client scenarios focused on early retirement, where just 6 months after seeing one of our Financial Planners, our client was able to fully retire, safe in the knowledge that they are financially secure.
