Aspirations Financial Planning acquires Batcombe Financial Services
Bristol, United Kingdom – Aspirations Financial Planning has today announced the recent acquisition of Batcombe Financial Services, adding more than £30m in assets under management to the rapidly growing financial planning firm based in North Bristol.
Batcombe’s owners had previously been approached by a number of interested parties and believes it has now found the right company to take on their 200+ valued clients. Aspirations was chosen due to their strong commitment to providing a first class service to their client base, their market-leading service and investment proposition and their investment into leading software solutions.
The sale of the business is a result of both of Batcombe’s directors retiring. Andrew Leach of Batcombe Financial Services had this to say:
“Since 1999, we have been emphasising the importance to our clients of having retirement plans. We are now taking our own advice and retiring! After exploring various options we feel Aspirations have the right business style for our clients wanting a personal service. We think our clients are going to be in safe hands.”
Adam Palmer, Managing Director of Aspirations commented saying: “We are delighted to welcome Batcombe’s clients to the Aspirations fold and are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible. Over the last couple of years, we have been focused on building a strong, knowledgeable team and a first-class investment and service proposition that we’re very proud of and are convinced of the benefits for our new clients. We look forward to getting to know each of them and welcoming them to Aspirations.”
